With the increasing importance of marine resources in human production and life, marine engineering has become a hot spot in today's scientific and technological research, and the research work on underwater ad-hoc networks has also gained more value. As the basis of network communication, routing protocols have become one of the key technologies for developing marine resources and developing marine military.Underwater ad-hoc networks use underwater acoustic channels for data transmission. The underwater acoustic channels have characteristics such as long delay, narrow bandwidth, and high bit error rate. These characteristics have brought great challenges to the design of routing protocols for underwater ad-hoc networks.Based on the idea of coding-aware routing and network coding technology, the Balanced Load Matching Rate Code Aware Routing(BMCAR)routing protocol based on network coding and balanced load matching rate has been proposed. The BMCAR routing protocol has modified the routing message format, added new fields to the routing request and routing reply messages. This protocol actively explores and utilizes potential coding opportunities in the network during the route discovery process, and uses a new routing metric(Balanced Load Matching Rate-Coding aware Routing Metric,BMCRM)as a routing criterion.Considering factors such as node load and the rate of data flow through the node to establish a route.Aiming at the phenomenon of unreliable data transmission,a mixed strategy of inter-stream and intrastream coding is proposed to ensure the reliability of data transmission.Aiming at the problem that coding failure may occur in basic coding conditions, new coding conditions were added to eliminate coding nodes that would cause pseudo coding, thereby improving the coding accuracy.Aiming at the problem that the network encoding cannot be encoded normally in the actual situation, the encoding waiting time is set and the inter-stream encoding optimization strategy is used to further optimize the network performance.Simulation results show that compared with the classic routing protocols AODV(Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing)and DCAR(Distributed Coding-aware Routing),the BMCAR routing protocol proposed in this paper has the advantages of throughput,end-to-end delay, etc.Better than classic routing. The BMCAR routing protocol combined with optimization strategies can make coding opportunities more accurate, further increase network throughput, and make data transmission more reliable and more practical.
