New industries require lower dielectric loss,stable weather resistance and more accurate dielectric constant for signal substrate carrier.High frequency copper clad laminate(CCL)is developing rapidly,because of its excellent properties.Based on polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)resin as the matrix,ceramic powder as the filler and electronic grade glass fiber cloth as the structure,this paper studies the influence of ceramic filler types,ceramic filler amount,coupling agent type and laminating process on the performance of PTFE ceramic composite glass fiber cloth high frequency CCL.High frequency CCL with dielectric constant 2.65?10 series,dielectric loss less or equal than to 0.0025,water absorption less than 0.06%,and copper foil stripping force greater than or equal to 2.5 N?mm-1are finally designed to produce.High-frequency CCL with different types of ceramic fillers(Si O2,Mg Ti O3,(Ca,Sr)Ti O3)and content of ceramic fillers showed increasing dielectric constant as the filler dielectric constant increased and the dielectric constant increased first and then decreased as the increase of ceramic fillers content.When the mass fraction of Si O2,Mg Ti O3and(Ca,Sr)Ti O3are 20%,30%and 45%,respectively,they are Dk2.65,Dk4.3 and Dk10.2 series products of PTFE high frequency CCL.Different types of coupling agents have great differences in improving the properties of high-frequency CCL.Among them,(Ca,Sr)Ti O3modified with titanate coupling agent(Model S201)has the best effect.When modified PTFE blending with 5%PFA,the high-frequency CCL achieves optimum properties.The performance of high-frequency CCL prepared by calcining Mg Ti O3ceramic fillers at 1360?is the best.The optimum laminated parameters of PTFE-based Mg Ti O3and Si O2high-frequency CCL are as follows:under the pressure of 5 MPa,the laminated temperature at 370?,and the maximum laminated time with 90 min.According to the demand for microwave antenna customers,the Microwave dielectric properties,thickness,surface sizes and other parameters of PTFE/ceramic fillers/glass fibers cloth high-frequency CCL are designed and calculated by simulation software.Through the sample production and test,the test results are basically consistent with the simulation calculation,meanwhile,the sample is confirmed by the customer.
