Location Based Services have become an indispensable important service for modern society and modern warfare.Most of the position services are provided by GNSS.However,the signal of GNSS is fragile and it is difficult to meet the demands of seamless positioning.It is a development trend to integrate high-coverage mobile communication system and high-precision position technologies such as pseudo satellite to realize wide-area high-precision positioning in the future.Thus,this paper is tended to research on the design and performance evaluation of local position System signals for navigation and communication integration.The main content of this paper is as follows:Firstly,based on the in-depth study of the communication signal and the GH-LPS signal,this paper analyzes the requirements of the navigation and communication integration design.And then,some evaluation methods is proposed to evaluate the performance of the navigation and communication signals.Secondly,the traditional navigation-communication integration signal is based on power multiplexing method.In traditional navigation-communication integration signal,the problem of mutual interference is studied and the attenuation of the navigation signal should be large than 20 d B.To solve the problem of interference in traditional navigation-communication integration signal,this paper proposed a new signal named CTSI-OFDM signal which is based on time division multiplexing method.Besides,the parameter of the CTSI-OFDM signal is also designed in this paper.The theoretical analysis shows that the received signal-to-noise ratio of the integrated signal is greater than-3d B or when the duty ratio of the CTSI-OFDM signal is greater than 10%,the tracking performance of the CTSI-OFDM signal is better than that of the traditional navigation-communication integration signal.Thirdly,according to evaluation methods of the navigation and communication integration signals,the acquisition performance and tracking performance of the CTSI-OFDM signal is evaluated through simulation.Simulation results show that the acquisition sensitivity of the CTSI-OFDM signal is better than 57 d B·Hz,and the code phase tracking error is better than 0.23 m.An experiment platform for navigation and communication integration signals is built to test the acquisition performance and tracking performance of CTSI-OFDM signal.Experiment results show that when the duty cycle is 20%,the acquisition sensitivity of the new signal is better than 52 d B·Hz,and the code phase tracking error is better than 0.13 m,which can meet the centimeter-level measurement requirement.Based on the above research,the proposed CTSI-OFDM signals in this paper has a good acquisition and the tracking performance.The research results of this paper can provide theoretical support for design of the integrated navigation and communication systems.
