Under the background of the new media era,celebrity communication has undergone fundamental changes.In this paper,the writer takes celebrity "persona" as the starting point and uses symbolic interaction theory and media mirror theory to analyse the construction and communication of celebrity "persona".Research methods such as participant observation,in-depth interviews and documentary analysis have been used to obtain first-hand information on the reality behind the entertainment industry,and a large number of examples has been cited as arguments to explore the construction and dissemination of celebrity "personas" with first-line film stars as case studies.The second part focuses on what is "new" about the construction of celebrity "personas".It is reflected respectively in new features,new paths and the typical construction of front and backstage.The new features are mainly based on the change of the interaction context caused by the change of new media environment and the new paths are mainly reflected in three aspects: film and television,reality shows and social platforms.At the same time,four typical cases are analysed to summarise the new constructs.The third part focuses on the three major communication paths of celebrity "persona",namely,capital,agency and fans.The interrelationship between the three paths in the new media environment is also analysed to have a more practical analysis of the communication paths for the study of celebrity "persona".The fourth section focuses on the positive impact and maintenance of celebrity personas,the negative impact and response strategies,as well as specific critical thinking.In the new media environment,the disadvantages and feasibility of celebrity "personas" are analysed in this part.Based on a large amount of realistic data,this paper takes the celebrity 'persona' as an entry point for specific analysis and extended thinking on the construction and dissemination of the 'persona'.It is hoped that this paper will provide practical insights for others to follow.
