After decades of rapid development,CCD(Charge-coupled Device)image sensor technology has been widely used in digital cameras,astrophotography,image remote sensing,surveillance and non-contact measurement and other fields.The CCD image sensor needs a specific drive sequence to work normally,and corresponding drive circuits need to be designed when using different types of CCD image sensors.This topic selects ON Semiconductor's CCD image sensor KAI-04070 as the research object,and launches the related research on its drive timing and peripheral circuits.The thesis first introduced the working principle and key performance parameters of the CCD image sensor,and then combined the characteristics and project requirements of KAI-04070,designed a CCD image sensor drive circuit based on FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array).The system can be divided into 7 parts: FPGA main control circuit module,timing drive generation module,front-end conditioning circuit module,power management module,memory module,system configuration module and interface circuit module.When the system is powered on,the main control circuit first controls the power-on sequence of the system through the DAC(Digital to analog converter)module,then controls the AD9928 to generate the CCD image sensor drive signal,collects the analog signal from the CCD output,and controls the AD9928 to collect the data through the LVDS(Low-Voltage Differential Signaling)interface The analog signal is transmitted to the main control circuit,and the main control circuit receives and processes the image data.When the main control circuit receives the power-off signal of the system,it generates the power-down sequence of the system again through the DACmodule and turns off the power in turn.In the system hardware circuit design stage,firstly,the power supply and PCB(Printed Circuit Board)modules in the system are simulated and analyzed,and the quality of the power supply and PCB transmission line in the system is improved according to the simulation results,thereby improving the stability and reliability of the system.After completing the design and production of the hardware circuit,use the Verilog HDL language to write the system driver code,and use the software and hardware joint debugging method to debug the system hardware circuit.Finally,use an oscilloscope to test the output voltage of the power module,the generated CCD horizontal drive timing and vertical drive timing signals.The test results show that the CCD drive circuit system works normally,and the generated CCD drive signal meets the needs of the project.
