Chinese TV drama have always played an important role in the Vietnamese teleplay market,especially in recent years,a large number of Chinese TV dramas with various themes have been introduced into Vietnam and are greatly sought after by the Vietnamese people.The spread of Chinese TV drama in Vietnam has gone through a period from Vietnamese TV stations to the Internet and then to the outbreak of online video websites.Even though the local TV industry in Vietnam has been encouraged and protected by national policies,the popularity of Chinese TV drama in Vietnam has never been reduced.Chinese TV drama pay attention to the cultural psychology and aesthetic needs of overseas audiences.The values conveyed in the contemporary Chinese TV drama,such as respecting the old and caring for the young,being loyal to love and loving the motherland,are always consistent with the mainstream values of Vietnamese society,so they are very popular among Vietnamese audiences.At the same time,the gradual formation of the separation mechanism of production and broadcast of contemporary Chinese TV drama,the star effect,the promotion of the new technology to the TV dramas,the themes derived from online articles,animation and games,as well as the protection of Chinese TV dramas by cultural policies,all promote the successful dissemination of contemporary Chinese TV drama to Vietnam.Under the influence of 30 years of Chinese TV drama,Vietnamese audiences have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture,which is very similar to their native culture.The number of Vietnamese students and tourists in China increases year by year,which further strengthens the friendly relationship between China and Vietnam.In addition,with the growing audience group of Chinese TV dramas in Vietnam,problems such as homogeneity of content and the actors are not dedicated to theirs work have become increasingly apparent.In order to be more competitive in the overseas market,the creation of Chinese TV dramas needs to pay attention to the feedback information of overseas audiences,including the Vietnamese audience,and make targeted improvements in time.
