With the rapid development of China's manufacturing industry and the proposal of the National Intelligent Manufacturing 2025 plan,the entire manufacturing industry has begun to develop to a higher level.The cable manufacturing industry is also pursuing high efficiency and high quality of product production.Especially in power transmission,communication,aerospace and other application fields,higher requirements are put forward for the quality of wire and cable diameter.The communication cable is the foundation of future communication development.At present,the horizontal polymer extrusion machines used by most companies for wire and cable production have many defects,mainly due to low accuracy and stability,and low level of intelligence.The adjustment of machine control parameters is done manually by technicians based on experience.In this context,this article began to research and design the communication cable diameter control system.Aiming at the problems of time delay and disturbance in the communication cable diameter control system,such as difficulty in modeling and low control accuracy,the traditional PID control method has certain limitations.On this basis,a dynamic matrix prediction(DMC)based on dynamic matrix prediction(DMC)and improvement are adopted.Krill Swarm Algorithm(IKH)is a strategy for optimizing the control system.While using IKH to quickly optimize the PID parameters,use the DMC algorithm prediction function to adjust in advance,and finally get the wire diameter value that is close to the expectation.Through simulation experiment and comparison of traditional PID control and general krill swarm optimization PID control algorithm,the results show that the latter two algorithms have more advantages in terms of anti-interference ability and response speed.Then complete the overall design of the communication cable diameter control system according to the needs of the system.The hardware part is divided into PLC control unit,testing equipment,touch screen and communication equipment,and electrical equipment for selection and configuration.Among them,PLC control unit is mainly divided into CPU module,input and output expansion module,PLC power supply and communication module.The system testing equipment includes diameter gauges,encoders,and temperature and pressure sensors.After completing the hardware selection and circuit design,start to use Portal V14SP1 software to complete the system control programming.According to the production process sequence,compile the main program,wire diameter detection and alarm module,push and traction speed control module,pressure detection and control,and module and cylinder temperature detection module and other programs,and add the optimization of this article.Strategy algorithm.The touch screen operating system is compiled by GP-Pro-Ex software,which is mainly composed of multiple interfaces such as pushing,filling,traction and speed control,which is convenient for the operator to control safely and quickly.After completing the design of the system's software and hardware,experiments are carried out and the data is collected and processed.The comparative analysis of the experimental data shows that the communication cable diameter control system based on the IKH-DMC-PID algorithm used in this paper can be used at the joint of the blank.Quickly stabilize the wire diameter at about 3.57 mm,which has certain practical application value.
