In recent years,with the development of power industry,units with large-capacity and high-power are increasing,large Unit such as 600 MW and1000MW have become the main units of thermal power.As the core of automatic control system of power plant, coordinated control system is becoming more and more important to operating safely, stably and economically.As a result, higher requirements have been put forward.With the development of computer technology and the study of modern control theory,intelligent control strategies have been used in complex industrial process.As an intelligent control algorithm,predictive control with an low requirement for model,good robustness and easily applied for computer,has been used in some industrial process control and shows its superiority.This paper studied the dynamic matrix control(DMC) algorithm deeply and applied it to 600 MW coordinated control system. First,this paper detailed the basic concepts of coordinated control system,then give the model of controlled object.Secondly,this paper studied the the single-variable dynamic matrix control and deduced the dynamic matrix control with feedforward(FF-DMC).Based on simulation, the feasibility of FF-DMC algorithm and the control quality of FF-DMC algorithm were verified.Thirdly,this paper studied the multivariable dynamic matrix control.By comparing the simulation result of multivariable centralized control and multivariable decentralized control,we found that the multivariable DMC centralized control is better than multivariable DMC decentralized control.Then the multi-model control strategy was combine with the multivariable dynamic matrix control,the simulation results showed that the multi-model multivariable DMC is better than single-model DMC when they are used to control atypical load point.Last, the FF-DMC algorithm and the multivariable dynamic matrix control are used to control the model of unit #3 in 75% load point,the results showed that the FF-DMC algorithm is feasibility and using the two algorithms to control the model both can gain good quality.
