5G features higher traffic density,faster transmission rate and more numerous simultaneously connected devices.Meanwhile,novel indoor communications services are crucial,covering a 5G/4G/3G involved simultaneous multi-network sharing system.Therefore,two main types of the indoor schemes for coverage are proposed:the indoor base station antenna(IBSA)and the indoor distribution system(IDS);Farthermore,the latter consists of combiners,indoor distribution antennas and couplers.As a result,of great importance is to fulfill the high gain,broadband,miniaturized and low-cost indoor coverage system.Consequently,this thesis mainly covers four parts as below:A review has been summarized to trace recent progress on the two main types of the indoor coverage schemes mentioned above in domestic and overseas;(1)A 1.8-5GHz broadband components for IDS has been designed.The text includes four-element directional array atenna and double-row four-way 6d B directional coupler,serving to load the power divided feed network.The linear atenna array works at 11-13d B with 94%relative bandwidth and return loss more than 10 d B.Moreover,the U-shaped reflector facilitate the front/back ratio and low profile.The directional coupler,with the cross-coupling stripline and asymmetric multi-section coupling line,possesses a low coupling degree ripple of 0.75d B and a high return loss of 20d B in working frequency,with downward compatibility.(2)As for the IBSA,aħ45°dual-polarization wide-band antenna of 0.15?_L is designed with a stepped sector ring cross dipole,featuring parasitic branches induced bandwidth with 2.2-4.9 GHz working frequency,8d B gain,>20 d B cross polarization ratio.It thus is employed to be an antenna unit to construct a 2×2 uniform planar array;(3)A 5G three-frequency(2515-2675MHz?3400-3600MHz?4800-4900MHz)combiner is designed with a size of 27mm×25mm×0.5mm,return loss>10d B,insertion loss<0.96d B and high isolation degree>25.5 d B,fulfilling the demands of miniaturized,high isolation and low insertion loss 5G combiner.
