Research On The Scenario Construction Of Sci-tech Novelty Search Service And Its Application In Intelligent Novelty Search Platform

The transformation of the scientific research environment has brought opportunities and challenges to scientific and technical information institutions from document delivery to information services(intelligence 1.0),from information services to knowledge services(intelligence 2.0),and from knowledge services to intelligent services(intelligence 3.0).However,the current sci-tech novelty search in China still relies heavily on manual operations,and it is difficult to control the quality of sci-tech novelty search based on the subjective judgment of the sci-tech novelty searcher.In order to improve the quality of sci-tech novelty search and achieve precise search of sci-tech novelty search,the combination of information technology and traditional novelty search has become an innovative practice of novelty search work.Although there have been discussions on the construction of an automated novelty search platform,the platform has not been effective in practice due to insufficient understanding of the specific scenario in the sci-tech novelty search service.The scenario is the key.It emphasizes personalized differences,extracts the key elements,and describes the specific situation of the event from multiple levels,which can help the intelligent novelty search platform to better understand and reveal the content.Therefore,this study focuses on the “scenario”,the scenario of the sci-tech novelty search service is constructed,and the scenario is applied to the design of the intelligent novelty search platform,which provides theoretical basis and practical reference for the construction of the intelligent novelty search platform.The research work of this paper mainly includes the following five aspects:(1)Investigation of the current status of research on the sci-tech novelty search service.From the theoretical and practical levels,this paper reviews the research on domestic and foreign sci-tech novelty search services,focuses on understanding the status of intelligent development of novelty search service,summarizes the methods of constructing intelligent novelty search platform,puts forward the current problems,and highlights the importance of studying the scenario of sci-tech novelty search service.(2)Theoretically,the dimensions of sci-tech novelty search service are proposed.Firstly,this paper analyzes the connotation of scenario,investigates and combs the scenario in information retrieval technology and the scenario studies in the field of social science research,and defines the scenario of sci-tech novelty search service.Secondly,based on the scenario planning theory,the scenario dimensions of sci-tech novelty search service are defined,including tasks,situations and actions,and the content in the three dimensions is analyzed from an objective perspective.(3)In practice,the research method of phenomenology is adopted,and eight sci-tech novelty searchers of the National Science Library of Chinese Academy of Sciences are taken as the research objects,and the data collection though the sci-tech novelty search reports,observation,and interview transcription.Combining with the theoretical research in Chapter 2,the scenario elements of the sci-tech novelty search service are finally extracted,and the internal mechanism of the sci-tech novelty search service scenario is studied.A demand investigation is made for the construction of an intelligent novelty search platform that integrates scenarios.(4)Adopting the scenario construction method in emergencies,this paper constructs the scenario of sci-tech novelty search service based on the knowledge element,designs a structured representation framework of the scenario,and carries out case analysis in conjunction with the specific novelty search service.Then,an intelligent novelty search platform is designed based on scenario,and it is proposed to embed the scenario database into the platform,the sci-tech novelty search process of the platform is discussed,and the empirical analysis is carried out.(5)This paper puts forward some optimization strategies on the construction of an intelligent platform that integrates scenarios,including expanding the deep-level functions of the platform,digging out the internal mechanism of scenarios and providing technical support for multiple scenarios.This paper includes 14 figures,21 tables and 3 appendices.
