Due to the increasingly complex battlefield environment,the single-mode radar cannot meet the requirements of long-range and high-precision detection.The radar with a composite of semi-active mode and active mode has the characteristics of long detection range and high detection precision,which has gradually become the development trend of precise guidance technique.Based on the project of semi-active/active composite radar,this thesis designs and implements the radar signal processor.Firstly,this thesis introduces the overall structure of semi-active/active composite radar system.For semi-active mode,the linear frequency modulation(LFM)pulse with large time and wide bandwith is used as the working waveform.In order to reduce the resource consumption,a frequency-domain pulse compression algorithm based on piecewise circular convolution is proposed.For active high pulse repetition frequency pulse Doppler(HPRF-PD)mode,an energy accumulation algorithm based on Wigner-Ville distribution(WVD)is designed to solve the problem of the low energy accumulation efficiency of target echoes with high acceleration.In order to mitigate the performance degradation in non-homogeneous Weibull clutter environment,including multiple targets situation and clutter edge,a constant false alarm rate(CFAR)detector based on the skewness(SK)and mean ratio(MR)named SKMR-CFAR is proposed.Simulation results verified the efficiency of the SKMR-CFAR detector.Secondly,the design and implementation of semi-active / active radar signal processor based on field programmable gate array(FPGA)is presented.The function and frame design of signal processor is introduced,including the hardware platform construction,digital signal processing(DSP)and FPGA task division,FPGA software framework and so on.The design of several important modules in FPGA is introduced in detail,including the multi-gigabit transceiver(MGT)interface module,direct wave sampling module,signal processing module,Serial Rapid IO(SRIO)interface module and system control module.Finally,a test system is built to verify the function of radar signal processor in the semi-active mode and active mode.
