The low-light camera electronics performance evaluation system is used to evaluate the overall performance of low-light cameras.With the development of low-light camera technology,users have put forward various new requirements for the performance of low-light cameras.A complete and accurate evaluation of the overall performance of a low-light camera becomes critical.However,camera evaluation standards that are widely recognized at home and abroad are all formulated for suitable light cameras.These evaluation criteria are not fully applicable to low-light cameras.In order to solve this problem,this paper presents a set of low-light camera imaging electronics evaluation methods based on camera output images.Based on this,a set of evaluation system that can operate efficiently is established.The actual measurement results of the low-light camera prove that the evaluation system can evaluate the electronic performance of the low-light camera completely,accurately and efficiently.In order to get high-quality low-light images that are more in line with the visual characteristics of the human eye,cameras denoise the image and colorize the image.However,the existing low-light camera evaluation methods do not cover these two needs.In order to evaluate the impact of image denoising algorithms on testing,this paper proposes three core elements for the establishment of imaging electronics evaluation methods.The research is carried out by means of mathematical model simulation and low-light camera actual measurement.In order to cover the color evaluation needs of color low-light cameras,this paper designed a low-light color evaluation experiment based on three objective evaluation indicators:three-channel quantum efficiency,CIE-LAB color difference,and CIEDE2000 color difference.The three-channel quantum efficiency curve,average chromatic aberration,and chromatic aberration diagram were used to visually characterize the experimental results,and the objective of objectively evaluating the low-light color performance of the camera was achieved.
