Smartphones have been widely used in daily life,and their production capacity and quality are an epitome of the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry.As the manufacturing unit of the manufacturing industry,enterprises shoulder great responsibilities.In essence,product quality is the key factor to determine the comprehensive competitiveness of an enterprise.Therefore,if China wants to become a manufacturing power,it needs to attach great importance to quality management.As A manufacturer of smart phones for customer A,DP Company urgently needs to further improve the quality control ability of the production process to enhance its competitiveness in the face of increasingly fierce industry competition and increasingly complex product structure and manufacturing process.After several stages of development,quality management has entered the stage of modern total quality management,and the success of Six Sigma management method after being carried out by many well-known enterprises at home and abroad makes it known as one of the important tools for quality improvement.On the basis of summarizing and studying the related theories of Six Sigma,this paper uses DMAIC model to improve the quality of the signal caused by the poor impedance of M4 HSG(mobile phone metal case)in DP company according to the following five stages: definition,measurement,analysis,improvement and control.This paper through the CTQ,SIPOC flowchart to define clearly the problem,then use Minitab,binomial process capability analysis,through the analysis of the GR&R C&E matrix and FEMA for measurement system analysis(MSA),then through multiple regression analysis to find out the key factor,followed by design of experiment(DOE),and the variance analysis to find the optimal process parameters,finally through file standardization,formulate long-term control schedules and SPC monitoring to ensure that the process capability is stable and reliable.The benefit obtained in this case verifies the significant effect of Six Sigma management method in improving product quality and process control ability of enterprises,and will be extended to other manufacturing departments and enterprises for application.
