Research On The Construction Of Virtual Knowledge Space For Maker Innovation Process

Since Premier Li Keqiang propose the policy concept of “Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Initiative” at the Summer World Economic Forum in 2014,it has set off a wave of maker movement in China,meantime,maker and maker space became a hot spot in academic research.Currently,a large number of theoretical studies and practical explorations have focused on the physical maker space,while the research on virtual space is less and focusing on space functions,value,technology,etc.Few scholars have studied the construction of virtual space,also,there is insufficient research on the knowledge needs of makers.Aiming at the current research status of emphasizing entities over virtuality,and the phenomenon of makers' diversified knowledge needs in the process of innovation,it has important theoretical and practical significance to carry out research on the construction of virtual knowledge space for the innovation process of makers.Based on demand-driven,demand hierarchy,knowledge collaboration,knowledge construction and other theories,using literature research,network survey,questionnaire survey,semi-structured interview,grounded theory and other research methods,taking maker and innovation activities as research objects,exploring the knowledge needs of makers for virtual space in the process of innovation,regarding the content of knowledge requirements as the core element of the virtual knowledge space,propose a set of process-based and model-based virtual knowledge space construction paths for various knowledge service organizations,mainly includes the following four aspects:(1)Analyze maker and innovation activities process.Through the literature research,analyze the types and characteristics of makers,the feature and stages of makers' innovation activities,accurately understand and grasp the process of maker's innovation activities,and form a unique research perspective in this article.(2)Analyze the knowledge needs of the maker's innovation process.Based on the process of innovation activities,through the questionnaire survey,clarify the maker's willingness to use the virtual knowledge space,and initially understand the knowledge needs;through semi-structured interviews to collect raw data,and use grounded theory methods to code the data.Finally,compare and analyze the two ways for makers to acquire knowledge,summarize and refine the content and characteristics of the maker's knowledge needs.(3)Propose a path to construct a virtual knowledge space for the innovation process of the maker.Based on knowledge needs analysis,detailed the principles of virtual knowledge space construction,according to the construction idea of “stage division-demand mining-space construction”,design the overall framework,main body support frame,and technical support frame of the virtual knowledge space,explored the content and system service framework of each element of the virtual knowledge space,and pointed out the key issues of construction.(4)Research on the preliminary application of virtual knowledge space oriented to the innovation process of makers.Point out the principles followed in the design of virtual knowledge space network platform,complete the interface design of the virtual knowledge space simulation platform according to the system service framework of each element,use the interview method to carry out the function evaluation and feedback research of the simulation platform,verify the scientificity and feasibility of the construction path,and then,propose construction practice strategies.The innovation of this research lies in:(1)Based on the analysis of innovation activities process and knowledge needs,propose the path of virtual knowledge space construction,committed to research on principles,frameworks,elements,key issues,etc,form a virtual knowledge space construction theory system.(2)Taking the process of innovation activity as the unique research perspective,conduct research through questionnaire surveys,semi-structured interviews,analysis and induction,etc,provide process-oriented and model-oriented construction plans and ideas for each knowledge service organization to construct their own virtual knowledge space.
