One-way Carsharing is a travel mode based on the sharing economy. It has the characteristics of clean energy, high flexibility in car use,and low car prices. Many enterprises have provided this travel service in major cities. In the actual operation of shared cars, the location and layout strategy,as the cornerstone of the entire system,is of great strategic significance to the profitability of the system and its subsequent development.Based on the above considerations, from the perspective of corporate operating profit, this thesis studies the location-allocation problem of free-floating and stationbased as well as their mixed operation mode based on the entire carsharing industry. In this thesis, the following three tasks are studied:1.Design the algorithm for the operation area location and fleet resource allocation under the free-floating operation mode. And based on that, put forward an evaluation index to measure the profitability of the freefloating area. The case study in Shanghai proves that the operating area calculated by this algorithm has higher profitability.2.Given that the self-loop structure cannot be ignored in the stationbased operation mode, the existing location selection model is improved by considering self-loop impact. In addition, the influence of the existing outlets to the newly-added ones has also been considered, and a new location selection model for the purpose of maximizing the business operation income is proposed. Finally, the proposed model is applied in the Xuhui district of Shanghai, and the corresponding location deployment layout suggestions are given.3.Combining the free-floating location allocation algorithm and the station-based carsharing model,a new location selection strategy is proposed under mixed operation mode.Firstly, based on the potential profitability of the area, the free-floating areas with high profitability are selected.Secondly, based on the station-based location model, the costs of parking in free-floating areas are taken into the optimization objective so that a new strategy under mixed operation model is given. Finally, the proposed model is applied to the case of Shanghai’s site layout, and the results show that the overall revenue of the system under mixed operation is higher than that of a station-based operation or free-floating operation alone.
