Picture book is a kind of book with pictures mainly,with the corresponding text introduction.In the process of children's growth and learning,picture books are essential reading materials.It can enlighten children's thoughts,guide children to construct their own spiritual world,cultivate children's aesthetic appreciation,reading and imagination and other educational functions.The types of children's picture books are varied,and the content is also rich and colorful.Museum children's picture books are one of the many picture books.They are based on the cultural relics collected in the museum as the starting point of creation,children as the reading objects,and based on a certain degree of specialization and science,they tell stories in vivid and interesting language.From the perspective of children's books market,the number of children's picture books in museums is not large,and some of them are picture books created by foreign museums.From the perspective of research and development region,the number of children's picture books created by museums in Beijing and Shanghai is relatively large and well-known,while the number of children's picture books developed by museums in other cities is relatively small and the popularity is not high.From the perspective of development type,most of them are single books in the form of reading,and a few of them belong to game picture books.All these show that the development of children's picture books in Chinese museums is not mature,and it started relatively late compared with foreign countries,and there are characteristics of unbalanced regional development.Museum bears excellent Chinese nation culture in our country,there is plenty of space,in order to analyze and forecast the children's picture books in the future direction and development trend,this article will provide some successful children's picture books as a case,the museum to children under the age of 12,as the research object,in child development stage theory of cognitive psychology,children's aesthetic perception theory as the support,based on the content of museum of cultural relics,in order to provide ideas for creation of children's picture books in other parts of the museum.
