With the rapid development of information technology,virtual simulation technology arises at the historic moment.The development of virtual simulation technology provides a new perspective for research.The technology is widely used in education,physics,chemistry,medicine,military,machinery and other fields,and has attracted the attention of many researchers.Virtual simulation teaching software is an important application of virtual simulation technology in the field of education.In view of the existing problems in the experimental teaching of digital logic circuit course of electronic specialty in colleges and universities,this study developed a virtual simulation experimental teaching software by using3 ds Max modeling tool and Unity 3D software development engine.This teaching software can help students learn and consolidate the relevant knowledge of digital circuit.To strengthen students' theoretical knowledge learning and practical operation,improve students' ability of circuit design,in order to make up for the deficiency of current digital logic circuit experiment teaching in colleges and universities.Based on the experiential learning circle theory of David Kolb,this study constructed a teaching software design model of virtual simulation experiment.Based on this model,the teaching software was designed and developed by taking the experiment of " Analysis and Design of Combinatorial Logic Circuits " as an example.The main research contents are as follows:First of all,the basic theory research.The research background is summarized,and the research status of electronic circuit virtual simulation at home and abroad is analyzed and reviewed.The concept,connotation and applicability of experiential learning circle theory,situational learning theory and constructivist learning theory in this study are systematically expounded,which lays a theoretical foundation for the design and development of virtual simulation experimental teaching software based on experiential learning circle theory.Secondly,the software design model of virtual simulation experiment teaching based on experiential learning circle theory is constructed.By combing the development model of virtual simulation software and the teaching model of experiential learning circle in previous studies,this study builds a software design model of virtual simulation experiment teaching based on experiential learning circle,and analyzes each element of the model in detail.Thirdly,the design and development of virtual simulation experimental teaching software based on experiential learning circle theory.In view of the problems existing in the experimental teaching of digital logic circuits in colleges and universities,based on the design model constructed,the "Analysis and Design of combinatorial logic circuits" experiment in the course is selected as the content of virtual simulation experimental teaching software,and the teaching design and software design are carried out.Using the Unity 3D engine as the development environment,using 3ds Max,C# programming language and other tools,the design and development process of software examples is introduced in detail.Finally,the application and evaluation of the software.After the software development,professional teachers conducted tests and modified and optimized the software according to the feedback of the teachers.After modification,students who have studied this course are invited to try it out and fill in a questionnaire.According to the application results,the software is evaluated and the direction of software improvement is defined.This study creatively integrates experiential learning circle theory with virtual simulation experimental software.Students use virtual simulation experimental software to conduct experiential learning,enhance students' interest in learning,help students to learn and consolidate knowledge related to digital circuits,and improve the effect and efficiency of experimental teaching in colleges and universities.
