Experimental training teaching in higher education can not only consolidate students' understanding of theoretical knowledge,but also cultivate students' practical ability.However,at present,experimental teaching shows some new disadvantages,such as lack of experimental equipment,safety problems,electronic waste pollution caused by damaged equipment and so on.With the continuous development of computer simulation technology and multimedia technology,virtual reality technology has shown its great advantages in various industries by virtue of its own super real visual interaction,and the technology is brilliant in simulation teaching.In this project,virtual reality technology is used to study the direction of virtual reality simulation teaching,and a three-dimensional model of modular production and processing training teaching system(MPS)is established.Eight experimental units in MPS simulation teaching platform are developed by using unity3 d engine,including feeding unit,extraction unit,processing unit,detection unit 1,detection unit 2 and classification unit And the storage unit and transition unit.The research content of this topic is mainly reflected in the following aspects:1)The development of virtual reality and the most suitable tool for developing virtual simulation teaching platform are analyzed.The best development route and tool combining virtual reality technology and experimental teaching are put forward.The characteristics,design ideas and system framework of PLC virtual simulation teaching experiment platform are designed..2)Based on a typical experiment MPs training platform in Siemens PLC experiment teaching,the model of each unit is established in 3DMAX and the animation of the model is optimized.The virtual experimental equipment is introduced into unity.The relevant UI interface is designed to realize the development of virtual client in MPS simulation teaching platform.3)In the development of the platform,the communication module is designed to realize the real-time communication between unity3 d and PLC in the development of the platform,and the continuous reading and writing between unity and PLC in the PLC simulation teaching platform is completed.This is also the key of the whole platform.On this basis,the paper proposes to optimize the communication between the two by using FIFO cycle team to operate shared memory in unity3 d.4)In view of the problems of the jam and memory shortage in the simulation of unity3 d,the paper proposes to optimize the dynamic scheduling of resources in large scenes in unity by using quadtree algorithm.The dynamic scheduling of resources is realized by combining Hilbert spatial characteristic curve to reduce the requirements of client to computer configuration and improve the stability of the platform.5)The developed virtual simulation experiment teaching platform is tested.Verify the continuity of reading and writing between unity and PLC and the stability of real platform operation.
