| Employment is the basis of people's livelihood and one of the topics of wide concern among young people.But the reality of young people's employment is often different from what the news reports show.In this paper,China Youth Daily is selected as the research object.Based on the framework theory,this paper studies the news frame of the youth employment report of China Youth Daily from 2010 to 2019 through sampling and content analysis.China Youth Daily has always paid close attention to the problems of young people,and has its own characteristics in reporting style.Due to the large sample size,weekly sampling was adopted in this study,with sampling at intervals of 22 days.After manual screening,231 samples were finally obtained.By understanding the youth employment policies in the past 10 years and reading the "Employment Blue Book" published annually by My COS Research Institute,this study firstly combs out the employment situation of youth from 2010 to 2019,so as to have a general understanding of the employment situation of youth in the past 10 years.By constructing eight categories,this paper studies the news framework of China Youth Daily's youth employment report from 2010 to 2019 in various aspects.From the content aspect of the framework,this study constructs four categories: "report topic","report protagonist","report source" and "report tendency".From the form of the framework,four categories of "report genre","report length","report layout" and "report language" are constructed.After obtaining the framework of China Youth Daily's report on youth employment,this paper analyzes the macro political,economic system,society and technology;Medium media image,media peers;Microscopic reasons such as the quality of journalists and readers' expectation explain the cause of the framework of China Youth Daily.Finally,the paper concludes the five characteristics of the framework of China Youth Daily in the aspects of theme,media,presentation,topic and media,which are shown as follows: wide variety of themes,insistence on self-selection and originality,exquisite and close to the people,sharp and attractive topics,and novel media integration.By combing the employment policy and the annual employment situation in the past 10 years,the author makes a comparative study with the news framework constructed by China Youth Daily,and obtains the consistency between the news and the reality: "the youth have high enthusiasm for entrepreneurship","the vocational education develops well","the employment choice is diversified";At the same time,there are differences between news and reality,which are mainly reflected in the contradiction between the high employment rate in reality and the difficulty of individual employment in reports,the gradual improvement of employment of vocational school students in reality and the continuous improvement of employment in reports,and the diversity of entrepreneurship in reality and the limitation of entrepreneurship in reports.By comparing the consistency and difference between the news frame and the reality,the author explains it from the two aspects of the authenticity and objectivity of the report of the China Youth Daily. |
