Research On The Application Of Data News In Health Communication

The coming of the era of big data indicates that the news industry is catching up with a new development wave again,and data journalism is an opportunity in the wave.In recent years,many domestic media have set up special data Journalism column for news reporting,which has become an indispensable and important part of news reporting and promotes the development of the news industry.On the other hand,the topic of health communication has attracted more and more attention.Data journalism adapts to this trend,assumes the responsibility of communicator,combines with health communication,and further improves the health communication system.This paper takes four domestic data journalism columns as the research objects,selects reports on health communication issues as the research samples,and finds that data journalism has great advantages in health communication.On the one hand,it can improve the interpretation effect of health news.On the other hand,it enhances the readability of health communication,and the value of data journalism is increasingly highlighted in the face of public health emergencies.After observing the reports on health communication topics in four data journalism columns,it was found that the number of such reports was far less than those on other topics,and the attention to health communication was low.In the form,health communication reports are more presented by static charts,and the value of data journalism is not fully explored.The coverage of health communication has various topics,but its depth needs to be strengthened.It is worth noting that data sources in data journalism reports are single,and the mining of data relevance needs to be strengthened.In view of the shortcomings of the data journalism column in the application of health communication,this paper proposes optimization strategies from four aspects,hoping to provide some help for the media to better carry out health communication.First,the media need to create a healthy lifestyle concept,play the role of agenda-setting,and expand the scope of health coverage;In the form of reports,it pays attention to the application of various media forms,enriches the reporting forms of data journalism,cultivates all-media compound talents,and improves data literacy.Establish health communication brand awareness,improve narrative ability,mining data imagination,innovation health communication report;For the acquisition and use of data,a larger dimension of data openness should be advocated,and a data cooperation mechanism should be established among media enterprises to make full use of data resources.Finally,the media should have a global awareness,strive to build and perfect the health communication matrix,build the health communication database,and normalize the health report.
