An important problem in the field of mobile communication is to study the propagation characteristics of the radio wave.It is of great significance to master the characteristics of the radio wave propagation in the research and development of the wireless transmission technology for mobile communication and the design of the mobile communication system.The research on radio wave propagation characteristics is inseparable from the research and simulation of wireless channel characteristics.The wireless channel link characteristic simulation technology has already become an indispensable test method in the field of communication,measurement and control,because it can reproduce a near real electric wave propagation environment on the ground and simulate the influence of various time and space changes on the signal transmission.This paper combines the needs of practical scientific research projects,the fading characteristics and simulation technology in wireless channel are studied.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.The research status of the fading characteristics of wireless channel and channel simulator are briefly introduced.The characteristics and physical significance of the probability distribution commonly used to describe the large scale fading characteristics and small scale fading characteristics of the channel are carefully analyzed.At last,the Suzuki flat fading channel model for ground wireless channel and the Loo flat fading channel model for mobile satellite wireless channel are introduced.2.The simulation method based on SWB algorithm and Box-Muller algorithm of channel fading characteristic is given.Simulation of large-scale and small-scale fading of wireless channel is realized.Furthermore,the simulation methods of two flat fading channel models of Suzuki and Loo are given.Finally,the simulation methods of large and small scale fading characteristics and two channel models are simulated based on Matlab.3.Simulation of large and small scale fading characteristics corresponding to four distributions of Rayleigh,Rician,Lognormal and Nakagami is realized based on FPGA.then the Suzuki channel is simulated on this basis.Finally,the correctness of the simulation method is verified by the Modelsim simulation and the board level test based on Chipscope.
