this article selects "Huawei Incident" in the People's Daily and the New York times as the research object,based on the framework and relevant theories of discourse analysis,content analysis,semantic network analysis and discourse analysis,discusses how to present and the international hot issues,and how to conduct discourse expression and meaning construction.The author tries to answer the following questions: What are the reporting frameworks of "Huawei Incident" in New York Times and People's Daily? What is the power or discourse strategy behind it?What's the difference? How should Chinese mainstream media enhance their discourse status in international public opinion regarding the "Huawei Incident" ?Research and analysis found that the two reports in the media for "Huawei Incident" summarized eight framework: the conflict against the framework,the attribution of responsibility framework,crisis consequence framework,the solution framework,national relations framework,cooperation/win-win cooperation framework,technology/science and technology innovation framework,the legal framework.Then reading the relationship between each levels and the framework.Finally,the article gives Suggestions for China's mainstream media reporting framework,from such as grasping the key time node to form the report peak,leveraging third-party sources to raise the international volume,improving the emotional compatibility of multiple reports,establishing a framework of advantages to enhance the voice of international institutions.It is helpful for China's mainstream media to enhance the discourse power of international public opinion and international system in the construction of international events related to their own interests.
