The rapid development of network e-commerce makes the volume of express delivery business grow rapidly,and the people have the higher requirements for the delivery speed of express parcels,However,the manual sorting of express parcels is still used by most of the logistics sorting centers,not only is the working efficiency low,but also the sorting error rate is high.The traditional sorting method cannot meet the requirements of express-delivery enterprises for the production capacity,time limitation and cost.Under this background,how to introduce the automatic sorting technology into the express delivery industry is a subject which is worth studying.Based on this,an intelligent sorting system for the express parcels based on the barcode identification has been designed by this paper.The specific work is as follows:? The segmentation and identification algorithm of the express parcel barcode has been put forward.Firstly,by using the grayscale morphology dilation operation,the express delivery order area is made to be closer to a whole,and then the express delivery order is extracted by means of the thresholding,connected domain search,affine transformation and other methods.Secondly,after the edge detection of the express bill image,the binarization is conducted again,the barcode area is marked by the binarization morphology,distance transformation,morphological reconstruction and other methods,and then the barcode is extracted by the mark-based watershed algorithm and perspective transformation segmentation.Finally,the width of the black bar and white space in the barcode is calculated,and decoded by compared with the encode table.? The hardware system of the express parcels intelligent sorting has been designed.The STM32F429 chip is taken as the core by the system,and the peripheral circuit module mainly includes the vehicle number detection filter module,communication module,memory module,camera trigger module and power supply module.The vehicle number detection filter module includes the optical coupler infrared transceiver sensor and the filter circuit,which is used to detect the vehicle number code plate and filter the code plate signal;the communication module includes the UART circuit to communicate with the PC machine and the CAN interface circuit to communicate with the sorting module;the memory module includes the SDRAM,EEPROM and FLASH circuit,the camera trigger module is composed of the transistor,the camera photoing is controlled by using the on-off characteristics of transistor;the power supply module includes the DR?24V to DR?5V and VCC?5V to VCC?3.3V two-way level conversion circuit.? The software system of the express parcels intelligent sorting has been designed.The software system includes the ARM control system program,express parcels image processing software and CAN bus monitoring software.The ARM control system program is developed on the Keil uVision4,and a lot of functions have been realized,such as the vehicle number sampling and identification,CAN communication under time window matching mode,camera photoing control,and communication with PC machine,and so on.The express parcels image processing software is developed on the Visual Studio2015,and a lot of functions have been realized,such as the connecting of camera,adjusting of camera parameters,displaying of the collected express parcels image,barcode image and identification result,and so on.The CAN bus monitoring software is developed on the Qt Creator,and the functions,such as monitoring and saving the communication data and so on,have been realized.In this paper,a large number of the express parcel images have been collected for testing,and the effectiveness of the proposed barcode segmentation and identification algorithm and the intelligent sorting system of express parcels have been verified.
