With the rapid rise of e-commerce,China's express delivery industry has also experienced many problems while it is developing rapidly,such as express delivery damage,low express delivery efficiency and violent sorting.These problems are mainly caused by the low level of automation in all aspects of express delivery,especially in the sorting process.Therefore,improving the automation level of the express sorting process plays a crucial role in improving the efficiency of express sorting.In this paper,the two-dimensional code recognition technology is applied to the express sorting system.An automatic express sorting system is designed by using image recognition technology and network communication technology.It consists of control equipment,conveying equipment,image acquisition system,sorting equipment and sorting crossing.Aiming at the randomness of express position in the sorting system,an image acquisition system that can collect the images of two-dimensional code on any side of express delivery is designed.Aiming at the characteristics of two-dimensional code images in express sorting,the two-dimensional code recognition process is studied,and the two-dimensional code preprocessing algorithms are selected.Aiming at the randomness problem of the pasting position of the express delivery sheet,the two-dimensional code positioning algorithm based on the position detection graphic is realized.Experiments show that the positioning accuracy of the method is 92% and it takes less time.Aiming at the geometric distortion of the two-dimensional code that may be caused in the process of express sorting and the wear of the two-dimensional code that may occur during the delivery process,the improved Canny algorithm is applied to the distortion correction process of the two-dimensional code.Experiments show that the improvement can improve the accuracy of edge detection of worn two-dimensional code.The distortion correction algorithm can effectively improve the recognition rate of distorted two-dimensional code in express sorting.Finally,a hardware platform has been building to simulate an express delivery sorting system based on two-dimensional code recognition.Visual Studio 2013 programming software and image processing database OpenCV have been used to realize software design of express sorting system based on two-dimensional code recognition.The entire process has been simulated on the basis of the hardware platform.The experimental results show that the application of two-dimensional code recognition technology in express sorting can meet the requirements of express sorting efficiency.
