Flexible cables play an important role in the field of intelligent production and manufacturing.However,in the manufacturing process of intelligent manufacturing equipment(such as industrial robots),long-term and high-frequency operation of the mechanism will inevitably cause the flexible cable to wear out and lead to aging,resulting in potential safety hazards and serious threats to normal production and operation Health of personnel.The friction and wear of flexible cables are the main factors that lead to electrical breakdown and insulation aging due to their electrical performance failure.The existence of friction and wear will greatly reduce the reliability and safety of the robot.In this regard,in addition to long-term frictional motion that can cause wear,factors such as high temperature,high speed,high contact pressure and oil environment can all be used as decisive factors affecting the service reliability of flexible cables.Therefore,it is necessary to study the friction and wear behavior of flexible cables under high contact pressure,high relative friction speed,high temperature environment,and oil infiltration environment.In addition,these influencing factors are also the most important causes of deterioration and irreversibility of flexible cables.Therefore,in this study,the effects of high contact pressure,high relative friction speed,high temperature environment,and oil infiltration environment on the wear performance of polymer flexible cables were studied.In view of this,this article takes polymer flexible cables commonly used in industrial robots as the research object,and designs and builds an accelerated test system for the service reliability of industrial robot polymer flexible cables,and studies high contact pressure,high relative friction speed,high temperature environment,The influence of oil infiltration environment on the friction and wear characteristics of industrial robot flexible cables.The main contents of the paper are as follows:First of all,according to the actual research problems of this subject,the background and significance of the subject are systematically investigated.The investigation summarizes the current status of the research on the reliability of industrial robot flexible cables,and briefly describes the current research status of the reliability of various cables.And summarized the main content of this article.Second,the friction and wear mechanisms are discussed.The influence of relative speed,ambient temperature and contact pressure,and oil infiltration on the friction and wear of flexible cables is considered through orthogonal frictional motion.Design corresponding accelerated test experiments for different influencing factors.The accelerated test system is designed by combining the working conditions required for the experiment and the actual working conditions of the robot flexible cable.It mainly includes the electrical part,mechanical part,software control part and data acquisition system of the system.Finally,the accelerated friction and wear experiment under different influencing factors is carried out in the accelerated test system for the service reliability of the robot flexible cable.Then the reliability of industrial robot flexible cables in service is studied.In order to evaluate the service reliability of flexible cables in high temperature environments,high friction speeds,high contact pressures,and oil infiltration conditions that often occur in actual working conditions.Analyze the related results of the friction force,the wear surface of the flexible cable,and the flexible cable fracture tensile test in the experimental results,discuss the influence mode and effect of each factor on the tribological performance of the flexible cable,and discuss the different elements Impact on the service reliability of flexible cables.At the end of this article,the research work involved in this article is summarized,and the shortcomings of the current work are summarized,and the future work of flexible cables is prospected.
