The advent of the 5G era announces that the electronic products of human society will reach a new order of magnitude.Among the mass of electronic products,embedded devices even occupy a dominant share.At the same time,embedded devices are also facing security problems.The programs and data stored in the chip have the risk of being read from pins,buses,etc.Once data leakage occurs,it will cause extreme damage to the intellectual property rights of product developers and the data privacy of product users.Therefore,it is particularly important to encrypt the internal program data of embedded devices.Among the data protection methods for embedded devices,dedicated cryptographic chip encryption has been widely used because of its simplicity,efficiency,and ease of expansion.At present,most of the dedicated cryptographic chips on the market adopt SOC system-on-chip design,which combines multiple functional modules of the cryptographic chip on an IC chip to obtain high integration and low power consumption.However,correspondingly,the SOC form of cryptographic chips has the disadvantages of high process complexity and long development cycle.Today,when the speed of electronic equipment replacement is accelerating,the long research period is not conducive to product market seizure.Based on the above practical needs,this thesis adopts SIP technology to combine and package domestic bare chips with different functions into a system with data encryption protection function.This design method does not need to consider the process compatibility issues between different bare chips,and can effectively reduce the circuit footprint of the system.It has the characteristics of low process complexity,high integration,independent control of localization,and short research period,effectively shortening time to market of the product.The SIP chip dedicated to passwords in this thesis includes three main components: MCU module,FLASH storage module and noise code module.Among them,the MCU module is based on the Power PC4601 chip,which is the core of the system's control and encryption/decryption operations.The seven-stage pipeline architecture and 32-bit integer unit of the Power PC4601's internal C8000 core provide the performance guarantee for system arithmetic processing,and the abundant serial port resources facilitate the expansion of chip function modules.The FLASH storage module is based on the GD25S256 MD chip and has a storage space of 32 MB to meet the data storage requirements generated by the SIP chip encryption/decryption operation.The noise code module is based on the WNG9 chip to generate true random numbers to ensure the irregularity of key generation.On module connection,this thesis takes the MCU module as the center to design the interface and communication,and define the communication data format.The SPI serial port is selected to establish a full-duplex fast synchronous data transmission channel between the MCU module and the FLASH storage module,which provides fast data transmission support for the system's encryption/decryption operation.According to the relatively small amount of key data,some pins of the EPORT port are set as general-purpose I/O ports for true random number transmission between the MCU module and the noise code module.The SCI asynchronous transmission serial port is used as the external communication channel of the MCU module,which is responsible for the data transmission and reception between the module and the host.In the chip SIP packaging scheme,the Power PC4601 bare chip and the GD25S256 MD bare chip are combined and packaged.The two bare chips are arranged in a pyramid-shaped three-dimensional stacking manner,and the pins are connected by wire bonding.The final packaged SIP chip has a physical area of 10*10mm,which effectively enhances the integration of the system.Based on the hardware structure of the SIP chip,this thesis builds an experimental test platform,and implements two national secret algorithms,SM4 and SM2,on the cryptographic chip.At the same time,a hybrid encryption scheme composed of two national secret algorithms on the SIP chip is given,which provides a design to reduce the consumption of key management in the case of large data volume.Finally,the practicability and application scenarios of the SIP chip design scheme for cryptography are discussed in general.
