With the development of science and technology and the improvement of human needs,the ocean with abundant resources attracts more attention.Ocean simulation is one of the hottest and difficult tasks in computer graphics research.Research and simulation of ocean has a wide range of applications,such as military,film and television,and virtual reality.Because the continuous improvement of the research,the simulation requirements of the ocean are higher,which not only need to improve the reality of the simulation,but also need to ensure the simulation efficiency.At present,most of the ocean simulation can not take the balance of the reality and real-time.This dissertation studies and simulates the high realistic sea surface.The main research and innovative findings of this dissertation are as follows1.Real-time simulation of large-scale ocean based on fast fourier transform.In order to simulate large-scale sea surface in real time,a new sea surface simulation method based on wave spectrum and LOD(Levels of Detail)algorithm is proposed Based on fast Fourier transform,LOD algorithm and Cook-Torrance illumination model are introduced to realize high realistic real-time simulation of infinite sea area.This method can quickly realize the simulation of the fluctuation characteristics of the large sea surface,and has good periodicity.2.Real-time simulation of high realistic wave based on N-S physical model.In this paper,a new layered simulation method based on physical model is proposed,which divides the wave simulation into basic wave surface simulation and curly wave surface simulation.Firstly,the shape of the basic sea surface is obtained by solving the shallow water wave equation,which is acquired by improved the Navier-Stokes physical model.Then,a physical NURBS(Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines)wave surface is used to generate the wave surface database,and the wave surface peaks are dynamically searched to connect the wave surface seamlessly with the base sea surface.Besides,the particle system is introduced to create the effect of wave rolling and breaking.Finally,the realistic curved wave ocean scene is generated in real-time.
