With the rapid development of technology, convenient transportation and network accelerate the formation of "global village",making cross-cultural communication between different countries a daily life, and the Internet becomes a new platform for cultural contact.Foreign vloggers in China have become an important part of Chinese Internet short videos because of their original videos with distinctive persona, interesting themes, high quality and unique cross-cultural content.Culture connotes that human beings maintain the continuation of life by following social rules and interacting with the environment to meet human needs. When the basic physiological and material needs of human beings are satisfied, they start to pursue deeper spiritual values, and at this time the interaction exists in terms of language, behavior, concepts and rules. When people from different cultural backgrounds come into contact with each other, their existing cultural experiences are not enough to support their lives in the new cultural environment, and they have to interact with the environment to get better.Acculturation occurs when acculturated people with different cultural backgrounds come into continuous and direct contact, and eventually the acculturated people change their own cultural patterns as a result of the long-term acculturation process.Foreign vloggers in China document their daily lives in China through video, updating rich visual content over time and steadily, and the cross-cultural content presented in these daily lives makes them quality subjects for cultural adaptation research. In the process of making original videos, foreign vloggers in China show the different stages of their adaptation to Chinese culture. When first arriving in China, the acculturators are under great pressure,as they are unable to communicate on a daily basis due to their language skills. In addition, they need to change their previous impressions of China and prevent psychological disparity.During the adaptation phase, they need to work on their abilities to match the Chinese environment. In the growth stage, they have the potential to have the ability of cross-cultural personality, but they also need to accept the cultural challenges of a deeper core.In this process,it was found that foreign vloggers in China are generally extremely well adapted to the physical level of urban infrastructure and online technological development, but are reluctant to experience the everyday behavioral habits that Chinese people take for granted, and most of them are completely unable to understand the unique spirit of Chinese thought.Sharing videos online in China has a positive effect on improving foreign vloggers' awareness of Chinese culture, and helps them build new online social relationships, providing them with more emotional support and effectively reducing their cultural adaptation stress. However, some foreign vloggers in China take advantage of the cordial and friendly Chinese cultural environment to deliberately abuse and consume Chinese culture and over-consume the emotions of Chinese audiences.
