IP Risk Management On Technology Development Period Of Company A

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,big data,Internet of things and 5g communication technology,the intellectual property for the protection of scientific and technological innovation becomes the main goal which has attracted the attention of all countries in the world.As the representative of high technology,semiconductor industry is not only the focus of technology competition among the countries,but also big concern of intellectual property risk topic,especially at stage of technology research and development.The research object of this thesis is about semiconductor company A,which is a manufacturing and development enterprise in the semiconductor industry.It is mainly engaged in the production of packaging components and the development of new packaging technology.Its products and technology are mainly applied to the central processing units of computers and servers.This thesis takes company A as an example to study the problems in intellectual property risk management of semiconductor enterprises.At first,by analyzing current domestic and international intellectual property risk management status and studying the risk management theory and technology innovation theory,the research topics is determined as risk management of company A,and the study focus is the risk identification,risk evaluation,risk control and supervision in the R&D stage of company A.Secondly,based on the analysis of the current situation of the company's intellectual property management,this thesis puts forward the problems of a company's intellectual property risk management in the R&D stage,which lays the foundation for risk identification,risk evaluation and risk response.This thesis takes the R&D projects of company A as an example,and applies for the method of patent data analysis and field investigation analysis to identify the intellectual property risk of company a in the R&D stage.Under the combination of these risk identification methods,the risks of repeated development,patent infringement,patent portfolio,freedom to operate and technology secret leakage in the R&D stage of company A are identified.On the basis of risk identification,FMEA(failure mode and effect analysis)is taken to build a risk evaluation system,which is used for evaluating the intellectual property risk level which provides reference for risk control.According to the result of risk evaluation,It turns out that the technology secret leakage is the highest risk,the repeated development,patents infringement,patents portfolio risk and patents ownership risk is at medium risk.Finally,Based on the risk types and risk levels,the thesis provides the risk control measures.The measures are focusing on the four points: Optimizing current intellectual property risk such as adding the repeated development risk and patents portfolio risk in the management risk;setting up the technology secret management;applying for the patents search in the whole R&D;Introducing the TRIZ to technology development in order to prevent the patents infringement.
