With the extensive deployment of mobile networks,streaming media has become a part of people's daily life,and users have higher and higher requirements for access to the network and service quality anytime and anywhere.Through the fusion of satellite network and ground network,converged network provides a wide coverage,large capacity,high quality network environment,which makes ubiquitous network access possible.In order to ensure the user's business continuity and communication stability,handover technology has become the focus of research.However,due to the high computational complexity of network selection,short network service time,and congestion of target network during the handover process,the terminal has high handover delay,multiple handover times and handover interruption,which seriously affects the quality and fluency of streaming media service.Therefore,it is of great significance to design a handover optimization method based on the characteristics of converged network and streaming media services for improving the data transmission performance of streaming media services.This paper summarizes the research status and main methods of streaming media service handover in converged networks,and proposes a hierarchical handover method based on streaming media service for the continuous demand of streaming media service in converged networks.Based on the characteristics of wide network coverage,high dynamics and streaming media,this method adopts the low delay first network selection method,which reduces the play lag and interruption in the handover process of streaming media service,and improves the quality of user experience.A user selection algorithm based on priority queue is designed to solve the problem of network blocking caused by simultaneous switching of a large number of users.According to the cache adaptive update algorithm,the delay jitter caused by handover can be compensated and the streaming quality can be guaranteed.Hierarchical network selection algorithm is proposed,according to the first-level calculation model based on markov network performance and adaptive matched filter rules to fit the network candidates,through the secondary position relationship models to predict the relative motion of the terminal and base station,combined with the user satisfaction model for the objective function,reduce the computational complexity and handover delay.In this paper,a converged network handover management system is designed and developed to verify the feasibility of the proposed method,which includes user management module,handover control module and network management module,etc.The paper introduces the system requirement analysis,system structure and function module of the design process and development,through the simulation of satellite orbit and user handover process to build the simulation test scenario,on the main functions of the proposed method and performance test verification,the results show that the proposed method in such aspects as handover delay and handover times has better performance.
