Video target tracking technology is a highly advanced technology in the field of computer vision and intelligent machines.It combines knowledge in different fields such as computer vision,intelligent monitoring,environment recognition,and target detection.It is important for the development and innovation of science and technology.Value and meaning.With the exploration of research and the development of science and technology,the technology has been widely used in smart cities,smart traffic monitoring,national defense and military,virtual reality and other fields.The increasing demand has attracted the attention of more and more researchers..Taking advantage of FPGA real-time performance,parallel processing and DSP's fast processing of different image data algorithms,this paper designs a target tracking system based on FPGA+DSP.The first step is to plan the overall plan of the system,then complete the hardware design of the target tracking system,and finally implement the design of the video acquisition algorithm and target tracking algorithm in the hardware to complete the real-time tracking of the UAV,as follows:(1)The overall scheme and hardware design of the target tracking system.First,design the overall scheme of the video target tracking system,introduce the working principle of FPGA+DSP chip and tracking algorithm,then discuss each part of the system,and explain the specific role of each part to be realized.Finally,hardware design is carried out,including video acquisition system and target tracking system.(2)FPGA-based video capture and real-time display.The algorithm is transplanted to FPGA,and the video acquisition module,DDR controller module,image preprocessing module and Ethernet transmission module are designed separately,and their functions are introduced at the same time.Finally,the preprocessed video data is transmitted to DSP through UPP communication..(3)Design of video target tracki ng algorithm based on DSP.Firs t,the morphologicalprocessing and video target detection algorithms in image processing are introduced.After the FPGA image data is transmitted to the DSP,the specific results of the segmented image are obtained by binarization,and then the edge contour of the target is obtained by the Hough transform processing.Carrying out the Hough transform straight-line midpoint detection method,finally get the target's trajectory,and realize the target's tracking.(4)Tracking system test.The system is in the working state and collects the motion video of the drone in a fixed area,and obtains the motion trajectory diagram of the target after processing,and compares it with the trajectory diagram in the original video.The experimental results show that the trajectory of the moving target is accurate,and the real-time tracking of the flying target is completed.
