| In the context of social digital transformation and increasingly severe aging,the rapid iteration of Internet information and communication technologies has exacerbated the digital divide among the elderly.Electronic public information services involve all aspects of the daily life of the elderly,and the study of their utilization status is of great significance for improving the quality of the spiritual and cultural life of the elderly in their later years and their participation in the information society.By combing through relevant domestic and foreign researches,the author finds that there are few research results combining the elderly with the use of electronic public information services.Therefore,the investigation of the utilization status of electronic public information services for the elderly can not only understand the current situation of the use of electronic public information services by the elderly,the existing difficulties and influencing factors,but also provide reasonable suggestions for reducing the digital divide of the elderly.This article uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods.Firstly,it uses a questionnaire survey method to understand the current situation of the use of electronic public information services for the elderly,and uses in-depth interviews to deeply explore the reasons behind the phenomenon.Secondly,from the theoretical perspectives of equalization of public information services,digital divide and community informatics,it explores the influencing factors of the difficulties in using electronic public information services for the elderly.Finally,it proposes countermeasures and assistance measures to promote the use of electronic public information services for the elderly.The following conclusions were obtained through research: First,the investigation and analysis found that age,gender,education level,place of residence,and disposable income have a significant impact on the use of electronic public information services for the elderly;Second,the current status of the use of electronic public information services for the elderly is lack of awareness and awareness of electronic public information services,insufficient motivation to use electronic public information services,single access to electronic public information services,concentrated use of electronic public information services,and electronic public information The service products are difficult to use,and the ability to use electronic public information services is insufficient.Third,the main factors that affect the use of electronic public information services by the elderly are social environmental factors,technical application factors and own factors.Accordingly,the countermeasures and assistance measures to promote the use of electronic public information services for the elderly are proposed from the four dimensions of the government,diversified service bodies,social support and the elderly themselves. |
