Study On The Official Documents' Theory Of Xu Wangzhi

Xu Wangzhi,as one of the archivists in the Republic of China,published his classic general theory of official documents at the earliest time,which not only systematically researched the types and origins of official documents,off icial language and other knowledge of document science,but also condensed t he theory of managing official documents.On the basis of deeply excavating Xu Wangzhi's theory of managing documents,this paper explores its value and Contemporary Enlightenment to document workers,document work and theore tical research.This paper takes Gong Du Tong Lun as the main analysis object,from th e following aspects: the first part is the introduction,which will explain the re search background and significance of this topic,systematically sort out the rel ated research status of this topic,discuss the research methods to be adopted,explain the main content of this study and the logical relationship between the m,and point out the innovation and potential problems of this study.The secon d part is a brief overview of Xu Wangzhi's life and the general description of Gong Du Tong Lun.This paper tries to find the formation background of Xu Wangzhi's theory of official documents by investigating his family and person al study and work experience,and deeply excavate the hidden theory of offici al documents by introducing the brief content of general theory of official doc uments.The third part is the main content of Xu Wangzhi's theory,which incl udes three chapters,namely,the theory of self-cultivation,the methodology and the formulas.One is the theory of self-cultivation.Xu Wangzhi put forward t hat the subject of managing official documents should have profound knowledg e and cultivation,namely broad knowledge,strong learning ability and docume nt ability;have noble character cultivation,namely diligent and prudent,modes t and upright,calm and upright,consistent words and deeds;and have noble p rofessional ethics cultivation,namely self-discipline,wholehearted for the peopl e,sense of responsibility.The second is the methodology of managing docume nts.This paper expounds the principles and methods of writing documents fro m three aspects: style,language and narration.The third is the theory of the p rocedure of managing documents.This paper mainly focuses on three aspects of document formation formula,processing formula and filing formula,which i s an abstract summary of document formation,processing and filing formulas.The fourth part is the characteristics and enlightenment of Xu Wangzhi's theory.The study found that Xu Wang Zhi's theory of official documents has four cha racteristics,namely,the characteristics of advanced nature and times,philosophi cal thinking and historical thinking,systematic thinking and practical thinking,theoretical and practical.On the basis of analyzing the theoretical characteristic s of Xu Wang's rule of writing,it draws inspiration from three aspects of reco rds workers,records work and theoretical research.Limited by personal understanding and the development level of document work,Xu Wangzhi's theory of managing documents has certain historical limit ations,but its emphasis on the quality of document workers,the concept of la w compliance,and the use of comprehensive research methods are still of gui ding significance to the current document work and theoretical research.
