Infants and young children are a special group of society,and their growth and development are related to the hope and future of the world.Serving infants and young children is an important part of the public library business.In accordance with the requirements of children's rights,public libraries should provide equal services to all children,and give priority to providing quality services for children,infants and toddlers in terms of the distribution of premises,hardware supporting facilities,collection resources,and children's librarians.There is a large group of infants and young children in my country,but the number of public libraries is seriously insufficient,and they are far from meeting the service standards;public libraries have insufficient supporting facilities for infant and young children services,and lack of collection resources for children's literature resources;insufficient number of professional librarians,and business quality needs to be Strengthen;a series of problems such as insufficient service methods are more prominent.The development of public libraries in the United States started early,and services for infants and children aged 0-3 have become more mature.Therefore,by comparing the status quo of the development of infant and toddler reading services in public libraries in my country and the United States,analyzing their strengths and weaknesses,learning and learning from the experience of infant and toddler reading services in American public libraries,it can help our public libraries for 0-3 years old.Infant reading services provide references and suggestions.
