Emotional health is an important part of mental health.The overall level of mental health in today's society is low and shows a trend of continuous decline.However,due to the influence of social culture,personal ability and other factors,most people are still in the stage of not actively paying attention to emotional regulation.In the process of people trying to understand their own emotions,they will lose the motivation for continuous improvement due to the influence of a variety of subjective and objective factors such as poor self-discipline and lack of proper guidance.In recent years,the concept of gamification design has been applied in many fields,such as health,environmental protection and education,and has achieved good application practice in the field of fitness related to physiological health.Gamification can promote behavior improvement by stimulating users' internal driving force,and intervene users' behavior on the premise of reducing the damage to user experience.So gamification can have a good combination with the needs of the emotional regulation system.This paper proposes to apply gamification to the design of multi-scene emotional regulation system,encourages users to record and analyze their emotions autonomously,conducts emotional catharsis in a reasonable space,and guides users to conduct autonomic emotional regulation,which provides a new idea for the application of gamification in the field of mental health.The target user of the system is the youngster.The application of gamification in the design of the emotional regulation system under multiple scenarios encourages users to record and analyze their own emotions,and conducts emotional catharsis in a reasonable space.The system provides a new idea for the application of gamification in the field of mental health.At first the author summarizes the current situation and relevant theories of emotion regulation and gamification,and analyses user types in gamification system.Then the author analyses the different driving force according to the user type and promotes the model of emotion regulation ability improvement based on a calm,support,control and record method.Octalysis theory is used to analyze the specific gaming elements in emotion regulation system.The system is composed of mobile phone application,emotion regulation space and regulation terminal in the space.The design was evaluated and improved by the combination of subjective and objective evaluation including attention distribution test,user satisfaction test,emotion rating scale and heart rate variability measurement.
