The 4K standard image is being promoted in television industry,but the main body of video viewer has become network users at this stage.The mobile video playback volume has accounted for 62%of the network playback volume in 2018,and having continued to rise.Therefore,the image quality presented by mobile content needs to be gradually synchronized with the TV industry.This article mainly studies the feasibility of 4K standard picture adaptation on the mobile terminal,the adaptation scheme,the limitations of the current stage,and the future direction of resolution.By reaching the dynamic range and color gamut of 4K standard images,the author has formulated a 4K standard picture creation practice using ProRes RAW format.Using the materials and experience obtained in practice to quantitatively study the rendering effect of the dynamic range and color gamut of 4K HDR images on different formats and display devices.Based on this,design experiments on the dynamic range and color gamut of 4K standard images on the mobile terminal,and find 4K creation and presentation methods suitable for the mobile terminal.At this stage,the display technology level of the mobile terminal is between the HD and UHD standards.If the current standard is applied directly on the mobile terminal,it would not achieve the best rendering effect of the mobile terminal display.Based on the quantified characteristics of UHD images,this paper presents an ideal rendering solution for mobile terminals,making full use of the characteristics of mobile display hardware at this stage,and effectively improving the display effect of the film.With the support of 5G communication technology,the factors that limit the adaptation of the 4K standard to the mobile terminal at this stage will have better solutions.Based on the existing 5G application scenarios,find out the future creation and presentation modes of high-quality images in the 5G environment,and contemplate the improvement process for 5G characteristics,and propose research directions for the future to solve the problem of deeper high-quality image adaptation to mobile terminals.
