| This thesis focuses on the news discourse of "artificial intelligence"as the research object.It aims to use the cognitive dimension of discourse to understand whether there is a specific reporting framework when the news media reports "artificial intelligence",and then explore the scientific and technological issues.How should news dissemination be better disseminated.Introduced,subdivided and summarized a total of 1,440 related articles on the search of 1,440 "artificial intelligence" on Xinhuanet from January 2016 to September 2019,and researched two entry points based on the quantitative dimensions of content and the dimensions of discourse text Expanded,based on the theoretical framework of Van Dick’s news discourse analysis:First,from the perspective of macro content analysis:report frequency,news genre and length,content emotional tendency,key issues and high-frequency vocabulary statistics;second,from From the perspective of report discourse analysis:textual expression,report theme,rhetoric and style,news schema analysis;third,from the perspective of report context:first analyze the text context of the report,that is,the path of discourse formation,and then analyze the social language of the report Situation is the motivation of discourse formation.From the perspective of quantitative analysis of content,the reporting frequency of artificial intelligence topics is generally on the rise,and the number fluctuates with the emergence of hot spots.Various types of media have maintained a certain degree of attention to the content of artificial intelligence topics;It is mainly news and communication,accounting for 76%of the sample.The content is mostly dynamic and time-sensitive conference reports.The content of the report has a large positive affection and focuses on positive publicity."AI+" covers various industries,including AI+Education issues are mentioned the most.From the perspective of report discourse analysis,the textual expression of artificial intelligence topics associates old words with new ones.Under the description of elite discourse,artificial intelligence has been given a subversive development force;the topics of the report are mainly divided into information,reasoning and Three types of public relations,with science popularization,warning,and propaganda as the purpose of communication;the rhetoric and style used in news discourse are marked context and implied persuasion;the news schema of this topic is summarized into three categories,namely,critical news schema,argument news schemas and ambiguous news schemas.From the perspective of report context analysis,the path of news discourse formation of artificial intelligence topics is the text context of the report,including "authoritative:relying on industry meetings+expert advice","word generalization:blurring the concept of artificial intelligence and Labeling ",and" excessive deification:exaggerating the impact and role of artificial intelligence ";the cause of news discourse formation on this topic is the social context of the report,including"political policy reasons:central and local policy linkages to help the landing of smart industries ","Economically-driven:Capital leads the development of the Al industry and drives the media to expand publicity",and "News subject:The characteristics of uncertain topics are prominent and professional barriers are strong".After the macro content analysis,report discourse analysis,and report context analysis of the first three chapters,on the one hand,the author’s insight into the relationship between discourse and power when highlighting artificial intelligence issues in the media has been highlighted.Discourse can represent both resource power and symbolism And the power of will,and influence the audience in two ways:persuasion and authority;on the other hand,it is found that there are certain problems in the current media coverage of artificial intelligence issues,and reflection and countermeasures on the existing issues of news discourse. |
