Analysis On The Construction Of Peasant Image In The Report Of Poverty Alleviation In Guizhou

At the end of 2012,66 counties in Guizhou were concentrated in poverty-stricken areas,according to the poverty relief office of the state council.In2013,under the strong leadership of the CPC central committee and the state council,and with the strong support from all sides,Guizhou province launched a poverty alleviation program.Over the past five years,Guizhou has made remarkable achievements in poverty alleviation and development.In the past five years,a total of67.08 million people were lifted out of poverty,the largest number in China.This background has provided abundant soil for academic research on journalism and communication.Media publicity is an important part of poverty alleviation work.As the official newspaper of the CPC provincial committee,Guizhou daily is the most influential and authoritative comprehensive party newspaper in Guizhou,and an important channel for the government to publicize the policies and progress of poverty alleviation.Therefore,the image of farmers in Guizhou daily's report on poverty alleviation not only reflects how the Guizhou provincial committee and government understand the relationship between poverty alleviation work and farmers,but also,in turn,helps farmers to continuously understand their main role in poverty alleviation work and accelerate the progress of poverty alleviation work.Therefore,the author chose Guizhou daily as the object of the research on the construction of peasant image in the report of poverty alleviation in Guizhou,which is representative and typical.The author adopts the method of constructing weekly sampling,taking Guizhou daily from 2013 to 2018 as the research object,and selects all the reports related to the image of farmers in the reports of Guizhou daily on great poverty alleviation in thepast five years,with a total of 343 samples.According to the frame theory,this paper analyzes the construction of the image of farmers in Guizhou daily's poverty alleviation news from the aspects of topic setting and reporting methods.From the topic setting,it analyzes the number of reports,the topic of reports and the tendency of reports,and concludes that the topic is mainly government work.From the reporting methods,the perspectives,sources,languages and genres of reporting are analyzed,and the reporting methods are mainly objective reporting.This paper summarizes the types of farmer image constructed by Guizhou daily and the problems and improvement measures in the construction of farmer image in the news report on poverty alleviation of Guizhou daily.At last,the paper puts forward a new direction of constructing the image of farmers: colorful farmers.For the media,it is beneficial to improve the publicity mode of poverty alleviation report and provide better reference value for the journalists to write more professional poverty alleviation reports.For the government,the research results can help to understand the progress of poverty alleviation from the side,and contribute to the formulation and improvement of poverty alleviation policies.For the society,it is helpful for the public to understand the contribution of the farmers,especially in the great poverty alleviation,and understand the significance of the great poverty alleviation movement to the farmers and poor areas,so as to respond to the government's call on poverty alleviation in action.
