Research On The Profit Model Of Xiaomi Enterprise Under Asset-light Operation

Different from the traditional industry,the profit model of Internet companies is in an evolving process under the influence of driving factors and is innovative.Internet companies are often representatives of light asset-operated companies.In this context,adopting a profit model suitable for long-term development of enterprises is the foundation of Internet companies.In 2018,Xiaomi was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange,which is not unrelated to its continuously innovative profit model.It is mainly reflected in how Xiaomi highlights the encirclement and breaks the original market structure in different periods,and then promotes the development of the industry and becomes the object of inquiry and emulation in the industry.Under the fierce competition of Internet companies in China,the evolution of Xiaomi's profit model can provide reference for the innovation of other Internet companies and hardware companies' profit models,and has high research value.This article takes Xiaomi as the case study,summarizes the existing profit model concept and theoretical results,and the profit model of Internet companies,and discusses the use of light assets model under the Internet of Xiaomi Enterprise,combined with the profit model of Internet enterprise light asset operation mode.What is the profit model under the light asset model,whether it can enable the company to continue to develop steadily.Through the analysis of the existing operating mode,combined with the characteristics of the Internet light asset industry,the profit model of Xiaomi Company is analyzed and deconstructed.After analyzing the overall profit of Xiaomi using Du Pont analysis method,the reasons for the success of Xiaomi Light Assets Operation are as follows:(1)It is the key to the success of Xiaomi Group to continuously adjust the profit model according to changes in internal and external environment..(2)The mining and connection of profit points is the basis for the success of Xiaomi Group's profit model.(3)Paying attention to the "flow" of Internet thinking is the direction of the success of Xiaomi Group's profit model.(4)The implementation of the “new retail” strategy will build a platform for the profitability of Xiaomi Group.At the same time,based on the successful experience of Xiaomi,some suggestions were made for the selection of profit models by other Internet companies operating in light assets.The inspiration of Xiaomi's profit model is useful for reference and practical reference value for the transformation and upgrading of Internet companies.
