Plaque is a unique cultural product in China.The plaque and the pattern on it can reflect the name and nature of the building,with rich cultural connotation.However,plaques are often hung on the height of buildings,and many plaques have not been taken down for protection and maintenance in hundreds or even thousands of years.The surface paint film has been eroded by the natural environment for a long time,resulting in curling,warping and falling off,which has affected the historical,artistic and scientific value of plaques.Through field research,it is found that there are mainly two kinds of production techniques for horizontal plaque in Chongqing: the first one is with and without land pole,the second is the aging rate of paint film under different production techniques is also different.At present,in the study of aging rate of plaque surface film and repair problems of film warping and peeling,there are few studies on the influence of ground pole layer on aging rate of film,and there is also a lack of research on the selection of film softener and adhesive.Based on the above problems and combined with the field investigation,different experiments were designed to study the protection and repair of the paint film.It is hoped that the simulation experiment can be used to strengthen the research on the repair of lacquer film on the surface of cultural relics,to delay the aging of lacquer cultural relics,so that such cultural relics can be passed down from generation to generation.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly reviews the development history of lacquer ware and plaque in China,summarizes the application of softener and adhesive in the restoration of cultural relics,and clarifies the value of the topic and the experimental ideas.In the second chapter,the effects of ground pole and natural environment on the aging rate of paint film are compared and analyzed.The experimental results show that the existence of the pole layer will accelerate the aging of the paint film,but the pole layer can protect the wood well.In saving wood,prolonging the life of ancient construction,the pole layer played an important role.Inchapter 3 and chapter 4,the properties of the commonly used film softener and adhesive are screened.According to the paint film softener,the effect of the softener on the color and flexibility of the paint film was tested by using the colorimeter,the axial rod method and the formula of variance in mathematics.It was found that the softener with glycerol,ethanol and distilled water had the best effect.The influence of adhesives on the color of paint film and the change of adhesive ability under different temperature and humidity were investigated.By using a universal tester,such as instrument,combined with the conditions of Chongqing,it is concluded that the fish glue is the most suitable to post the film in Chongqing area.Due to the influence of some force majeure factors,the selected softener and adhesive is still difficult to be used in the actual situation.However,the deterioration mechanism of paint film,the experiment of softener and adhesive and related research are all carried out based on the actual investigation after the sample is simulated,which still has certain reference value for the restoration of paint film on the surface of plaque and other wooden cultural relics in the future.
