Smart campus refers to the informatization in campus based on cloud computing,Internet of Things,big data,mobile internet and etc..Meanwhile,the Location Based Service(LBS)takes an important role in smart campus.LBS is based on positioning technology.In outdoor environments,Global Positioning System(GPS)can satisfied people's requirements of positioning well.However,in indoor environments,the positioning accuracy of GPS drop sharply.Meanwhile,the indoor positioning technology based on Bluetooth low energy(BLE)is becoming more and more popular among developers because of its low price,low power consumption,and wide coverage.It is becoming a better solution to the indoor positioning problem.Aiming at the positioning problem in smart campus,took the smart campus card equipped with CC2640 chip as the main body,did a study on the indoor positioning of the student card based on Bluetooth,designed and built a simple student card indoor positioning system.The indoor environments is complex because of a large amount of obstructions such as desks and chairs in the classroom.The Bluetooth signal will drop sharply during the propagation process,which wound affect the positioning accuracy of the Bluetooth indoor positioning.In order to improve the positioning accuracy of the positioning system,analyzed the propagation process of the Bluetooth signal,constructed a function between the signal strength value and the transmission distance,used the student card to filter the signal strength values of iBeacon,analyzed a variety of positioning algorithms,and optimized the weighting factors of the weighted centroid algorithm.Finally,the positioning accuracy of the positioning system has been significantly improved.Based on the student card equipped with CC2640 chip,the author designed the overall structure of the student card indoor positioning system,finished the construction of the system,and completed the positioning accuracy test in a semi-open environment of 6m × 9m.The test results show that the average positioning error of the system is 1.5585 m,which basically meets the positioning requirements of the environment in school.
