Indoor positioning,one of the hot research point in the field of information technology,has been developed alongside the popularity of smart terminal equipment.And various applications are also increasingly rich at present.In a variety of indoor environment,it is convenient for users to provide them with location information continuously and reliably.In the future,people may use indoor navigation to find ticket offices or boarding gate or waiting area quickly at airports or train stations;markets may push product information to customers according to the specific location of them;parents may keep track of their children from straying;lamps or air conditioning may open or close automatically according to the location of person who stay indoor,etc..With the development in positioning techniques and products,location based service will be omnipresent.Our lab has recently been carried out the elderly care research work based on Smart Home.And it is important to monitor elders who live alone at home.The content of this thesis belongs to the elderly care project.This thesis uses Bluetooth Low Energy technique to design and implement a simple but efficient indoor wireless positioning system.The system is composed of indoor base stations,a mobile terminal,a router,and a monitoring terminal.It would monitor the target in the room,and send locating information to the remote monitoring terminal.The MI band wristband is adopted to be mobile signal end.The indoor base station includes a Bluetooth module and WiFi module,and the Bluetooth module communicates with the mobile terminal to complete regional positioning,after that,the WiFi module transmits data to the router which,at last,communicates with the monitoring terminal to indicates which room the target is in.The main work done in this thesis includes:1.Hardware design of the indoor base station:chip selection;circuit design;design,welding and debugging of the PCB board.2.Software design and programming of the indoor base station:communication protocol;development of embedded program.3.Monitoring terminal programming:Java Socket programming.
