With the rapid development of electronic technology,the dimensions and performance of integrated circuits(IC)are reaching its limits.The development of large scale integrated circuits based on CMOS is facing great challenges.The memristor is considered as one of the most promising nano-devices which can substitute for CMOS.Because of nonvalatile,high integration density,low power consumption,and CMOS compatibility,it can bring breakthrough in electronic technology.The circuit based on memristor can realize parallel memory and erase operation.It becomes a hot spot in digital logical circuit design.To solve the contradiction between simple logical functions and simple circuit structure,design of reconfigurable memristor logical circuit is studied in this paper.Firstly,this paper introduces the concept,basic theory and model of memristor.Several reconfigurable logical gate strictures based on memristor are also studied.This paper expounds the design method and working principle of these logic circuits to realize complete logic functions,and simulates and analyzes the AND,OR,IMPLY logical gates.Secondly,a novel reconfigurable logical gate structure is proposed to solve the problem of possible miswriting.Compared with other logical gate circuits based on memristor,it uses fewer memristor and input variables to realize more logical functions.To overcome the logical misoperation and enhance the stability of the circuit,an asynchronous sequential circuit structure is employed.Then this paper expounds the working principle of this circuit,and specifically studied AND,OR,IMPLY logical gate.To solve the degradation problem of voltage level in this reconfigurable memristor logical circuit,an optimized logical circuit is proposed.The optimized circuit uses simpler circuit structure and fewer input variables to realize different logical functions.By changing the input variable into control signal input,themiswriting can be avoided because of voltage level degradation when the stored data in first memristor is read as the voltage of the second memristor.The design methods of different logic gates and the working principles of the circuits are described,and the feasibility of AND,OR,IMPLY logical gates is verified by SPICE.By using the flexibility of reconfigurable circuit,a 3-8 decoder based on memristor with storage function is proposed in this paper.The working principle of this decoder is expounded and feasibility is proven by simulation.Compared with the traditional decoder based on CMOS,this decoder is simpler and has storage function.It extends the application of memristor logical circuit and brings experimental reference in logical circuit design based on memristor.
