Framework Analysis Of News Report On Genetically Modified Food

The continuous deepening of globalization and the rapid development of science and technology have gradually brought genetically modified food into the public's field of vision.In recent years,with the increasing understanding of genetically modified foods,the controversy over the safety of genetically modified foods has also become the focus of public attention.The news media is both a channel for the public to obtain information and a platform for the public to participate in communication.Therefore,the reporting methods of different media will also present a variety of reporting forms within a certain news framework.This article selects "Science and Technology Daily" and Peng Mei News Network to analyze the framework of news reports on genetically modified foods,and comparatively analyzes different media's different reporting models on genetically modified food issues.The author selected a report from June 1,2014 to June 30,2019 as a sample for frame analysis,using content analysis method,a total of 443 samples were drawn.Using the method of Zang Guoren's framework analysis,the news reports of genetically modified foods will be analyzed from the three structural levels of high,medium and low,and the three categories of construction perspectives of the report's standpoint,the content of the issue and the form of text presentation will be placed in the high,In the middle and lower three levels of structure,use the method of content analysis to do descriptive statistics,chi-square analysis,etc.,and use the method of comparative analysis to conduct in-depth discussions again.It can be seen from the analysis that the news reports of genetically modified food still have the problems of solidified perspective and single theme,and in terms of text form,most reports are mainly news,the report format is relatively single,and the popular science rate is low.Therefore,it is indispensable to optimize the reporting of genetically modified foods.This article proposes countermeasures to balance reporting,increase scientific in-depth reporting,and improve the editorial team's journalism professionalism and literacy to comprehensively improve the reporting quality and increase the readability of the report.
