The biggest feature of the conformal load antenna is that it conforms to the carrier. This complex structure makes the processing, assembly, and service environment of the antenna different from traditional planar antennas. This means that the structural error of the conformal load antenna needs to be re-characterized,and the mechanism of the effect of the error on the antenna performance needs to be further studied. At the same time, the mutual coupling relationship between the units in the conformal load antenna array is limited by the shape of the carrier. The mutual coupling relationship is an important factor in guaranteeing the performance of the array antenna. Therefore,a new exploration is needed based on the above-mentioned research results of the conformal load error. In view of this problem, this article mainly studies the following three parts: 1.Small-scale error modeling and analysis of its effect on antenna performance According to the source and distribution characteristics of the error, the micrometer-level antenna surface roughness is defined as a small-scale error.Through experimental processing of the sample and scanning electron microscope measurement of the sample surface, the true morphology of the small-scale error on the surface of the copper foil of the antenna is obtained. Then, based on the skin depth, the invalid information in the small-scale error is removed by a filter function.Establish a small-scale error equivalent conductivity model based on the power loss relationship on the antenna surface. Finally, based on the equivalent circuit diagram of the microstrip antenna, the relationship formula between the antenna radiation efficiency and the equivalent conductivity is deduced and completed. The correlation between the small-scale structural error and the electrical performance parameters of the antenna is shown.2.Middle-scale error modeling and analysis of its effect on antenna performance The distortion of the antenna unit on the order of millimeters is defined as the middle-scale error. The dimensional error of the conformal antenna structure, the curvature error of the conformal antenna, and the influence mechanism of the unevenness error of the conformal antenna on the electrical performance were analyzed respectively.Among them, the largest structural factor that affects the performance of the antenna is obtained in the error of the size of the antenna structure, which provides a certain guide for the processing accuracy of the conformal antenna. In the study of the unevenness of the conformal antenna, use ANSYS to simulate the working conditions of the element, transform the complex structural deformation of the element into the deformation of the grid node, couple it to the node coordinates of the ideal element, and then solve the surface current distribution of the element by the moment method, and then obtain the electrical properties after deformation.Completed the electrical performance analysis method for complex models.3.Multi-scale error modeling and its influence on mutual coupling effect of arrays Array deformation is defined as large-scale error.According to the size characteristics and analysis characteristics of the three error types, the equivalent conductivity model and the mesh node deformation are comprehensively applied to establish a multi-scale error solution model. The moment method is used in combination with the array element excitation method to calculate the surface induced current of each array element for arrays containing a single error and arrays containing multi-scale errors. Finally, the magnitude of the influence of various errors on the mutual coupling relationship is analyzed by comparing the normalized induced currents. The contribution of various errors in the results of multi-scale errors on the mutual coupling relationship is also given.
