The popularization of the Internet and the development of mobile network communication technology are quietly changing the information transmission mode.With the continuous development of 4G and 5G communication technology,text,pictures,sound and images can be transmitted at high speed through smart terminals such as mobile phones,and the information transmission in the form of short video is more convenient and efficient.In order to adapt to this change,a number of traditional medias begin to transform with the help of short video and broadcast technology.The host said broadcast of CCTV within half a year successfully achieved a phenomenon of “100 millions+”,which is a typical representative in the traditional mainstream media's fusion and transformation.It is worthy of reference and learning for other traditional media of the same type at the time of transformation development.Based on the content of 189 short video news reports released by it on July 29,2019 and February 15,2020,this paper tries to discover and summarize the laws and relationships of samples.This research focuses on the emerging field of short video news,emphatically discusses the basic characteristics and success factors of the host said broadcast of CCTV,and puts forward improvement strategies according to its existing problems at the present stage,providing reference for the development of short video news.The first part is mainly related literature review,and discussing briefly the research significance of this paper.The second part is the definition of short video news,the summary of the current development situation and the statistical analysis of samples from nine dimensions.The third part summarizes the five basic characteristics of the host said broadcast of CCTV: clear and highlighted topic selections in the reports;continuous attention to important events and the repetitive release of the reports;consistencies with the reading habits of the target audience in the length and time of releasing;the overall style is unified and the content is simple;and the differentiation to suit the platform in content published in different channels.The fourth part analyzes the distinctive factors from the perspective of “5W”.The last part analyzes and summarizes the deficiencies and suggestions for improvement of the host saidbroadcast of CCTV at the present stage.By studying the host said broadcast of CCTV,the author hopes to provide some useful suggestions and lessons for the innovation and development of the same type of short video news,and to help promote the content production and dissemination of short video news in the era of media integration.
