Logistics and warehousing Industry are experiencing a rapid development with developed Internet of Things strategy.Barcode scanner as a key equipment is widely involved in kinds of applications,while its high resolution performance is still a challenge at the state of the art.This paper introduces a 2mega pixel optical system utilizing 2 plastic Aspheric lens.Thus,the setup of the optical is simple and flexible for assembly,which reaches a balance between performance and cost.First,the target and significance of the thesis are introduced.With the development history of barcode and barcode scanners,the shortcomings of present products are figured out and then analyzing the trend of its next generation.Second,the design,work principles and structure forms for the barcode scanner lens are delivered.Formed the optical specifications for 2 mega pixel barcode scanner lens assembly.Then a 2 mega pixel barcode scanner lens assembly solution is introduced with a matured structure.To optimize aberration,an aspheric lens is used to replace a spherical lens to get the acceptable performance and best cost control.Third,its optical system tolerance and optical imaging quality test are introduced.Error analysis and tolerance analysis for 2pcs PC 2 mega pixel barcode scanner lens assembly are further optimized.And the imaging quality of the product is tested.Finally scan performance of the barcode scanner with the developed optical system is tested.The scan performance meets all design targets.
