The traditional private network must have an end-to-end physical link,the VPN utilizes the existing network resources to solve this defect and implements a proprietary network through a logical network which is built on the public network platform.As a traditional L2VPN,VPLS has severe limitations in link redundancy,multicast communication,ease of use and so on.It cannot meet the needs of data center interconnection which is rapidly developing with virtualization.EVPN proposes the separation of control plane and data plane for the defects in the application of VPLS technology,it introduces a new model for Ethernet service deployment,enabling operators to fully meet the evolving needs in terms of high bandwidth,complex QoS,and guaranteed SLA,making the network more scalable.Based on the traditional methods and the analysis of mainstream technologies,this thesis uses MP-BGP as the control plane of EVPN and VXLAN as the data plane of EVPN,which implements BGP EVPN technology suitable for large-scale cloud computing service operations and cloud data centers.The main content of the thesis includes:(1)Design and implementation process of BGP EVPN scheme,MP-BGP uses the routing information synchronization function as the EVPN control plane to reduce traffic flooding in overlapping networks.(2)The EVPN data plane VXLAN implementation method mainly includes: VXLAN communication mechanism,tunnel establishment,centralized gateway deployment,and implementation of the traffic forwarding process of distributed gateway deployment.(3)Analysis and comparison of EVPN multi-homing connection DF election algorithm,and interconnection and interworking between different EVPN networks.(4)Optimizing the IP multicast process in the EVPN multicast subnet through the IGMP proxy,reducing the flooding of IGMP messages in the EVPN network,implementing the IGMP proxy in the multi-live and multi-homing scenario,and implementing the IGMP join synchronization and leaving synchronization.(5)Basic functions of BGP EVPN technology,complex networking scenarios,and related performance testing and implementation.
