The Long Term Evolution(LTE)network has been widely accepted as the fundamental infrastructure of the mobile Internet currently.Due to the high frequency band adopted by LTE network,there exists a weak ability of diffraction and penetration to obstacles.Thus the signal coverage of LTE network in dense populated urban area is restricted by many factors and requires a higher number of base stations for network coverage.How to overcome these factors such as site resource shortage in dense urban areas and to solve the problem of poor signal quality in weak coverage areas of the network is a focus of concern for telecom operators.This thesis presents a comprehensive and in-depth research on construction mode of outdoor station and its application based on the actual project in Nanchang Telecom.This thesis firstly gives a brief introduction of the LTE network principles and key technologies,followed with the comprehensively analysis of the traditional outdoor station construction mode,difficulties encountered in the current outdoor station construction,respectively.Then the definition,technical characteristics and advantages of the micro-station are discussed.Finally,this thesis proposes the construction plan of combining macro station and micro station in hot spots on the basis of the analysis of the construction plan.The proposed design has achieved good construction results through the actual project implementation. |
