With the publication of the General High School Physics Curriculum Standard(2017)2020 Revision(hereinafter referred to as the "New Curriculum Standard"),the Ministry of Education has put forward new requirements for students' core literacy and textbook preparation.Against this background, the 2019 People's Education Edition of high school physics textbooks has also been officially put into use.The new version of physics textbooks is a very important carrier in the process of students' physics learning, and exercises are also an important part of textbooks.Exploring the characteristics of the new textbook exercises and the differences between the old textbook exercises is of great significance for improving textbook exercises and teachers to cultivate students' core literacy through the use of the new textbooks.Among them, the literature research method, comparative research method and content analysis method are adopted.By comparing the exercises in the electrical part of the People's Education Edition Physics Textbook(2019 and 2010 editions, hereinafter referred to as "New Textbook" and "Old Textbook"),the advantages, disadvantages and difficulties of the new textbook are analyzed. And what enlightenment is there for the compilation of textbook exercises and teachers' use of exercise teaching.First of all,by comparing the changes in the surface characteristics of the exercises,we can observe the number, type and changes of exercises as a whole.According to the specific situation of the exercise,it is carried out from three dimensions: the step of solving the problem, the depth of the investigation, and the breadth of the inspection. The difficulty of the exercise is measured by six difficulty factors: the inference level, operation level, content level, exercise scenario, open level and number of knowledge points. After counting the number of exercises under each difficulty factor,Bao Jiansheng's exercise difficulty model is used to calculate the difficulty coefficient under each difficulty factor in different textbooks. Finally, according to the changes in textbook exercises, suggestions are given on the preparation of textbooks and teachers' teaching.Through comparison, the author found that in addition to the increase in the number of exercises and the obvious increase in the number of calculation questions, many newly compiled exercises have also been added. In terms of difficulty, although the new textbook makes up for the shortcomings of the depth and breadth of the old textbook exercises to a certain extent, there are still problems such as single test knowledge points, lack of characteristics and innovation of exercises.Based on this, combined with the requirements of the new curriculum standard for cultivating students' core literacy in physics, suggestions for improving the exercises are given: increasing the number of conceptual analysis exercises, comprehensive exercises, inquiry exercises and situational exercises. At the same time, teachers can comprehensively explain complex question types according to the changes in the difficulty of textbooks, and cultivate students' ability to process information and establish physical models. In terms of scientific exploration,we should also try our best to create conditions for students, cultivate students' interest in physics learning, and promote the development of students' core literacy in physics. Finally,in order to improve students' learning efficiency and reduce the academic burden,it is recommended that teachers combine the self-edited test questions of textbooks and cultivate students' ability to summarize and reflect on themselves.
